Sorry is an inadequate word to express our feelings about Florence's passing.
We have such wonderful memories of a person who was so loving and loveable.
We will always remember her caring, her humor, her pies, her good will, her support.
We have lost a truly great friend and our little world has lost a truly great person.
Remembering Florence will always be joyous, re-affirming, inspiring.
We wish her family and friends the recovery that Florence would have wished.
Betty Singer and John Nesbitt, Oaknoll Retirement Residence, Iowa City, Iowa.

So sorry to my friend, Julie, for the loss of her beloved Aunt Florence. I heard many wonderful stories over the years about Florence and finally got to meet her at Julie's 40th birthday party, she was delightful! Although I met her only a few years ago, with Julie I had been eating her "treats" for many years, she never let Julie leave Iowa empty handed. My friend Julie and her family will truly miss Aunt Florence. God Bless.

I send you my deepest sympathy for the loss of Florence. My mother-in-law, Jeanette Winn, is part of the "1st floor gang" so I had met Florence through her. She was a very pleasant, kind hearted woman that I was honored to have met.

Black Family,
I have known Florence ever since I was a little girl. While my Dad mowed her yard she would invite me in and we would sit a visit. She will be missed by all that knew her. She was a very nice lady. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have fond memories of Florence during the years she taught both of my kids, Jessica and Adam. It was always fun to strike up a conversation with here when we would bump into her for many years later, she never forgot a student. She was a special person.
