Facilities

We offer two locations, Lensing Funeral & Cremation Services on Kirkwood Avenue in Iowa City and Lensing's Oak Hill on Holiday Road in Iowa City. Lensing's state-of-the-art cremation center is located in the Iowa City funeral home.

Our Iowa City funeral home also offers several spaces to meet your needs during visitations and memorials, including:

• A comfortable, private family room with a television and DVD (sometimes appreciated by families with young children), a refrigerator, and a fireplace,
  
  
• Our library, filled with books and other media about grief and loss,
  
  
• A handsome back porch that can extend your memorial outside.
  

Next door, is our banquet and reception hall, The Kirkwood Room. Holding up to one hundred people for seated events, this inviting space allows your family and friends to share a meal together after a memorial without traveling. The Kirkwood Room also serves as an elegant meeting place for many community events and celebrations.

Lensing's Oak-Hill Funeral & Cremation Service provides easy access to the growing "Corridor" area. It also serves as home to Faithful Companions, Johnson County's only pet loss facility.
