Funerals & Memorials
Honoring your loved one
We believe that every life is unique and deserves to be celebrated and remembered. Thankfully, we have many options today with regards to how to pay tribute to your loved one. You may choose a traditional funeral or a contemporary, humanist service. You may choose cremation with a traditional burial or you may have an open casket funeral; there are many combinations.
Lensing's will listen to the needs of your family and respond with respect. As members of a diverse community, we have worked with clients from a myriad of religious and ethnic backgrounds, created ceremonies for both the very young and the very old, and provided assistance and comfort to families on very small budgets, as well as to those planning large, public tributes. What ever is appropriate for you, we are here to assist.

|Choosing A Venue
The location or setting of a service is key to establishing the mood and atmosphere. Lensing's two funeral homes provide private and comfortable spaces for funerals, memorials, and viewings. You may also choose to hold your service in a church or other house of worship, at a sectarian public space, or outdoors. Wherever you choose, Lensing's will be there to assist you along the way.

|Our staff's commitment to you
Lensing's staff is committed to providing support, compassion, information, and direction as needed to all members of our community, their families, and friends who are dealing with loss and grief.
When a death occurs, there are decisions and arrangements to be made. Our funeral directors assume those responsibilities for you, and you can depend on Lensing's to provide a service that is memorable, flawlessly planned, and personable to the smallest detail.
When my mother died, Tony Porter met with me and was so supportive. He offered options I had not thought of, had good suggestions, and attended to every detail as though I were his own family member. He and other members of the Lensing staff were at St. Mary's for the funeral and were very helpful. I cannot express what a comfort they were, and what an excellent manner they had with all of our family. I will always remember the service and kindness they provided me at that time. -Faye Thompson
