Aftercare Services
Our aftercare aftercare program assists those who need some additional emotional support, either in the early days of loss and grieving or later. We maintain close ties with community support groups, counselors, psychologists, and other community service professionals, and we sponsor memorial services, seminars, and workshops in cooperation with public health agencies. Call us if you need a speaker, would like to schedule a tour or visit our library, or have questions about any of the events on our calendar.
Lensing's Library
Our lending library contains hundreds of books and videos about grief, loss, death, and healing. It includes factual books for dealing with children and loss (including other kinds of loss, such as divorce and moving); books specific to special situations, such as a military-related death or the death of an infant; classics about the process of death and dying; and personal memoirs by respected authors. Located in our Kirkwood Avenue location, the library is open to anyone during regular business hours.
